Who does Macro tracking work for?

Well that’s easy – anyone who consumes macros – which is everyone. Macros=food (protein, fat and carbs).

How do I track my macros and what do I use?

My clients use Myfitnesspal it has the best food data base and it is easy to log and use! LOG ANYTHING WITH CALORIC VALUE… veggies, salsa, sauce…ANYTHING!

How do I get started?

What are my responsibilities?

  1. Log your food/macros into MyFitnessPal DAILY! Add all supplements. Both Google and YouTube have tutorials on setting up the MyFitnessPal application.
  2. Email weekly macros spreadsheet (which I will provide to you) to me. I will respond to all emails within 24 hours unless I communicate otherwise. Please make sure that you do not hand-write these. I use the formulas in the spreadsheet to help me set trends and better adjust your intake.

What will I need?

  1. Digital home scale for body weight
  2. FOOD scale for food prep
  3. Measuring cups and spoons for weighing and portions
  4. Myfitnesspal app
  5. Patience/ Pre Planning and Perseverance

How long until I see results?

Every person responds differently but most see improvements the first 1-2 weeks if they are on their target macro base numbers. We will take before pictures and pictures as we progress. How long this takes is really up to the individual’s goals and commitment to the process.

Do you have a seminar option where I can learn before I dive in?

Yes, I do! I host monthly live webinars and also have pre-recorded webinars available. Visit the coaching page for further details.

What is the coach’s role?

The coach plays a great role in the process. One, accountability to hold your feet to the fire. You made a commitment and I want to see you through it! Two, cheer you on. I am your biggest fan and when you succeed I will be there to celebrate and when you fall short I will be there to encourage you to push forward. Three, analyze data and keep you in the burn zone in order to push you to your optimal metabolic capacity.
